About ALD
Amanda studied Garden Design at Plumpton College, subsequently specialising in Planting Design at the London College of Garden Design where she graduated with Distinction. Based in Brighton, UK, she is passionate about creating beautiful spaces outside that have sustainable design at their heart. Her contemporary, architecturally strong designs are naturalistic yet functional, built with a changing climate in mind.
Before launching her Garden Design studio, Amanda worked in the public relations sector for nearly 20 years, helping to launch and grow technology startups around the world. She founded and subsequently sold a women’s fashion business and holds a Guinness World Record (which she doesn't really like to talk much about).
